At Healing Touch Hospital and Ultrasound Centre, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is dedicated to providing specialized, life-saving care to newborns who are born prematurely, have low birth weight, or face critical health challenges immediately after birth. Our NICU is equipped with advanced technology and is managed by a skilled team of neonatologists, pediatricians, and trained neonatal nurses, ensuring round-the-clock monitoring and care for fragile newborns.

We understand that the first few days of life are crucial for at-risk babies. Our NICU offers a sterile, temperature-controlled environment with equipment like infant warmers, incubators, ventilators, and monitors to support vital functions such as breathing, feeding, and temperature regulation. We also provide phototherapy for jaundice, intravenous fluids, oxygen therapy, and nutritional support tailored to each infant’s needs.

Our team closely monitors each baby’s progress, adjusting care plans as needed while keeping parents informed and involved every step of the way. In addition to medical treatment, we emphasize emotional care for families, offering counseling, guidance, and support during what can be a very stressful time.

We also coordinate follow-up care after NICU discharge to monitor the baby’s growth and development, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home.
